Our children are born with a remarkable set of innate skills that have played a crucial role in the evolution of our species. Our role as caregivers is to encourage and nurture, rather than squelch their natural sense of wonder, their awe-inspiring creative imagination and curiosity. They are born to learn and master some of the most complex skills like ‘walking’ and ‘language’ at a very early age. There is no system of reward and punishment or any other formal / informal learning curriculum at work while children acquire these seminal skills in the very first years of their lives. There is simply magic at work – the magic of intrinsic motivation, of the sheer joy in learning for its own sake. The child is born resilient and perseveres in the face of numerous falls, while learning to walk. The debilitating idea of failure, as we know it, does not exist for the infant yet. The child simply sees each fall as another step towards the final goal and uses it effectively to improve. The child is born with what the famous education researcher, Carol Dwek calls a ‘growth mindset’. At GEMS we believe in nurturing this innate genius within each child.
Children’s curiosity and unbridled imagination are the food for innovation. In a rapidly changing world, the QI skills (as Dr Laura Jana defines them) rather than only the IQ would matter much more as the old playbook for success transforms.
From high school to university, the world of work and beyond, our mission is to open doors and facilitate success every step of the way. Once a GEMS student, always a member of the GEMS family.
Through the middle and senior school years, students are guided on their career choices beyond the school environment through various initiatives curated by our team of career guidance counsellors. From job-like sessions, to workshops, university fairs and strategic collaborations with colleges, advance placement and bridging programs and much more, GEMS learners have access and support through the entire college selection and application process.

t is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem I
Join the excitement for Natyagram, our School Annual Fest
At the 'Natyagram - a promenade of emotions' our young learners not only perform on a single stage; instead, they will captivate you at various venues spread across the school premises. You will be guided through this engaging panorama of dramatic art by our very own young artists. Every artistic creation, from literature to visual art, from dance to music, from poetry to drama, is a testament to the vibrant pulse of life. Art is the language of our emotions, the space where our inner selves truly awaken. This year, "Natayagram" embarks on an exploration of diverse story genres, tracing their captivating journey through time. As our young geniuses prepare to enthral you through their regaling performances, we request your cooperation and whole-hearted engagement with this festival.
At GEMS Education, our Maria Montessori-inspired philosophy prioritizes the essence of performance over elaborate adornments. We believe true art and learning in dramatic performances stem from charismatic dialogue, agile action, profound creative expression, and confidence. Consistent with our commitment to sustainability and the SDG goals of responsible production and consumption, performers will typically wear simple attire and utilize readily available props for dramatic effect.
Beyond entertainment, 'Natyagram' provided a unique educational experience, exposing students to various theatrical traditions, including Greek theatre, Sanskrit plays, works of William Shakespeare, and iconic art forms from different historical periods. The immersive nature of the event nurtured curiosity and excitement among students while fostering essential skills such as confidence and teamwork.
Our Extended Care program supports an active learning environment for students. It is a balanced structure to enhance their health, fitness, emotional well-being and co-curricular skills. Day care teachers, administrative staff and certified nannies ensure young learners' safety, security and hygiene in a home-like environment.
